Nimrat Kaur in Abu Sandeep at Cannes

Nimrat Kaur opted for a Abu Jani & Sandeep Khosla creation for a media event at the ongoing 66th Cannes Film Festival.
The Dulce de leche, Badla sari finished with a beaded gota border, was teamed with an organza gota dot blouse. Understated elegance and high glamour were the result.
Nimrat is here for her movie 'The Lunchbox' that has made a strong impact as India's lone entry in The Semaine de la Critique (Critics' Week).

Cannes 2013: Sabyasachi spottings

It wouldn't be far from the truth to say that Sabyaschi is proving to be a hot favorite on the Cannes 2013 red carpet. Muse Vidya Balan, who he has styled for the event as well, is of course is only flaunting his creations, but the buck doesn't stop there. Ashwariya Rai Bachchan too was seen in a black creation by the designer as was Nimrit Shah. As much as we love the designer and his work, I think a sort of overdose is setting in. After all, variety is the spice of life....
Which is your favorite Sabyasachi look?

Trend spotting: Pencil skirts

Pencil skirts seem to be all the rage in B-town right now...and Deepika Padukone seems to be spearheading this trend revolution! She has been spotted in them twice off late. Sonam Kapoor too has a penchant for them. While black pencil skirts have always been around as a corporate favorite, it is the printed and colored ones that we are crushing on. Love Deepika's Zara, Kareena's red and Kangana's Burberry skirt. So chic!
Who wears it best?

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan - Cannes hair makoever

While a lot of you loved Aishwary Rai Bachchan's look on the Cannes red carpet today, there were quite a few who felt that her hairdo looked a wee bit harsh on her.
A softer hairdo would have framed her face better making for a much better look. Do not believe me ?
Take a look at some of the makeovers we tried and one can't help but conclude that a different hairdo would have been a better choice.
Which of these looks gets your vote? I vote for #2.
