So, after analysing the highs and lows of certain Bollywood ladies, I thought it was high time that praise was given to the ladies who get it right 90% of the time.

I was going to include some of these ladies in the Highs and Lows post, but didn’t. The reason?
It was hard finding bad pictures of these ladies. I came to the conclusion, that these ladies are the ones who consistently get their makeup right and hardly ever falter. So, I present to you, THE MAKEUP QUEENS OF BOLLYWOOD.

"My other must-haves include Sisley Face Cream, Kiehl’s Lip Balm and Maybelline Colossal Volum’ Express Mascara. During the day, I wear a lot of mascara, lip gloss, and Julie Hewett Cheekie Cheek & Lip Shine. At night, I go heavier on the eyes.”

Lara is undeniably a gorgeous woman. I love the fact that she is a grounded intelligent, yet very sexy lady. She is all woman, and is never afraid to speak her mind.

Every time Lara attends a launch or an event, I am in awe of how beautiful she looks. Her face is always glowing and she looks extremely presentable.

This lady knows what looks best on her. She obviously has a fab makeup artist who knows exactly what Laras makeup mantra is. Most of the time, Lara sticks to a similar look, yet it is always flawless.

What I love about Laras makeup, is the fact that she never hides her skin tone. She embraces her gorgeous olive skin and plays it up so well. I honestly think, Lara has THE best skin tone of all the Bollywood ladies. She has a golden glow to her and always looks sun kissed.

As you can see, Lara does wear quite a lot of makeup, however it hardly ever looks CAKED ON.

• Lara knows her skin type. She is always seen sporting dewy foundations. These make her face glow and look healthy.
• Laras blusher is also quite a prominent feature on her face. She uses a nice dusky pink colour which is pigmented enough to show up on her skin. It is always blended right and makes it look like she is naturally flushing.
• When it comes to the eyes, Lara has quite a signature look. A light wash of shimmery eyeshadow, with liquid liner on her upper lash line, kohl in the waterline and false lashes.
• Another fab part of Laras makeup, are her lips. She usually uses natural shades which are “her lips but better” type of colours.

The best thing about Lara? Even without makeup, she looks stunning. I admire women who can show the whole world their natural face.
