Why is religion and what one should or should not do get in the way? She is having fun at her wedding, it is her grand day and lets be happy for them. Barkhi hamari problem nahi hein. Hum kyun dakheel de rahe ho kisse aur ke mamler mein?

as far as the lehnga is concerned; she may be using mom's/aunt's someone she loves' lehnga! i know a lot of white people get their grandma's or mother's wedding gowns refitted for sentimental value... Too bad these Indian weddings have become so materialistic and less about genuine celebration of families coming together !

for all of u who have said that sikhs are not allowed to drink or have meat - i am a sikh and there is no such thing that we are not allowed to drink or have meat - infact during diwali in the very traditional houses we make meat only we arent supposed to drink in the gurudwara and eat meat there just like how hindus wont !

Between the turban and all that facial hair, it's impossible to tell whether he is handsome or not.

The couple have known each other for like 10-11 years....We cannot expect the bride to be all coy n shy!
Wedding is pretty much a formality seal...Its all fun...
Also, I doubt these are officially released pictures...so if they are seen here drinking beer...its because they are! It OK and normal these days...
If they would have released something officially they would have skipped that....

This guy might just be wearing turban for the wedding only....I've seen this at many Sikh weddings where the men and groom who normally have short hair and are clean shaven, grow beards and wear turbans for wedding.
