She so smartly stylish-- yet the best thing is that fashion does not wear her-- she wears the fashion. Her freshness and appeal transcend fashion. She looked as equally cute in her Mumbai photos with a a simple t-shirt as she does in high-fashion. It's her smile and energy, which frankly is the sparkle and shimmer about her.

There are many celebrities who are the 'girl next door' beauty of every-day simplicity.

Well...Freida certainly seems very beautiful. She is a sparkling Smita Patil like earthy beauty. And looking at the 4th photo, seeing her symmetry and smile-- she certainly does not seem ordinary. In a street, she would stand out as very attractive and striking- either in NYC or Mumbai. She could not have been a Mumbai model otherwise.

Anyhow, going by the theory that she is ordinary: there are many celebrities who are 'celebrated' for their beauty-- and then many find them ordinary and simple. Many of Hollywood top stars are not the prime-- but rather an average sampling of the attractive population. ie. Renée Zellweger is one in our view (and please feel free to disagree)-- have seen so many prettier blonde gals in NYC and Chicago when lived there-- and find her 'ordinary'- and cannot understand why she is a 'star'. Oh! but she's a star because that IS her beauty: everyday simplicity. And to many others, she would be extraordinary.

It means beauty is like a key which is open to some and locked to others: unique, special and once the door opens-- very sacred and special. So let's honor the sacred nature of all diverse beauties, and celebrate our own preferences.

don't try, no need to find anyone out of your own taste range. just appreciate that beauty is diverse with diverse tastes - -and you have your view and others will have their view. respect all forms as equally diverse and special with their own brackets of ppl who prefer that-- but enjoy your own preference. it's all in the eye of the beholder.

the fact that the racial abuse against her has gone down is a big step in the right direction, in fact. as for 'native / aboriginal', well-- do these words make someone respulsive? not at all.. 'native indian' is used with a lot of pride in the U.S.

i like what she is wearing but i really don't find her pretty! She is just so average...i had soooo many girls in my schhol/college with better features/looks. (and for me pretty is not aishwarya or kareena..its just that i don't find her beautiful or exceptional!
