DESI WOMEN OF ALL COLORS LUV MANISHA. if ppl are fighting over who has the fairest complexion (minus makeup) --that's sad. if you must, then the fairest of them all minus makeup is Manisha, who beats Kar with her more feminine features and oval face angles.. she is said to have such translucent complexion with no makeup that one can see her veins. and even more so, she doesn't care about her beauty (let it go through drinks) and is totally attitude-free. plus, she was far more wilder, free and far less vain than Kar ever was. Manisha (in her prime) was an original. for great beauties, it's still facial angles-- and the prize goes to Sonali and many others...

Perhaps Kar has the best complexion (if you like that fair look and think it's important).. however, whether Aish is black or white.. she has the feminine refined features and gorgeous green eyes. So preference is Aish. Yet, neither is the best beauty of India as a preference-- India has too many stunning dazzling beauties... Neelam and Sonali are top choices in their prime and should have been among the 50 most easily.

so true, Sun, 2009-11-15 04:42-- people want to glorify their fave star.. that's great. there are so many postive ways to do that (web sites, poems, tributes, fan letters). but to kick one's own race to glorify their star is just a form of self-hatred, this internal racism is sad.. and sadly, we saw tons of it in the maid posts .. but it creeps in silently and more subtly without a care from other desi women, who too often partipate in this form of self-hatred. when will the desi community rise to say this is all wrong???

i like kareena she looks more traditional and carries a princess charm where as ash as usual looks very fake trying to be international more over she is trying to copy the titanic pose for once she should be herself. also there is no comparison between these two as ash is now an old lady and kareena is much younger to her

Most people believe that Karisma is prettier than Kareena.. look at their photos today, Karisma looks at least 10 years younger with her pure blue eyes and sweet face. and to the sick sad poster, she is 'fairer' with her bluer eyes and less narrow-eyed look.. not that it matters.

dude... the #1 most luved actress today is Katrina.. so get on the ball. and she's someone who they say even Kareena is shaky of.. she avoids her.

most desi women (and all women) do not like other women with attutide: the reason why they luv a fairer ((and most would consider a prettier)) Karisma and Katrina OVER Kareena is simple: attitude. Also, they find Karisma and Katrina prettier (both look very non-desi-- much more than Kareena, if that's what you're after). Karisma and Katrina are sweet and humble, even if they are 'honest'. honesty is fine.. but many folks are honest and nice.

yes.. but that does not make sense that desi women prefer Karisma (who most people do think is prettier).. after all, Karisma is fairer than Kareena with her blue eyes, et all. Kar after all, only has hazel eyes.. and looks less Euroepan with more Indian features (larger lips, smaller forehead, et all).

Karimsa has blue eyes and beats Kareena to a punch any day !!! sorry .

proof of two faced desi girls: they ALL hate gori looking, fair desi girls. (read jealous)
and then praise sanwli/dark typical desi faces who cake on makeup to LOOK fair, because the the majority of desis DO LOOK desi..hence they only like to be compared, and praise dark, baby/round faced, small forehead, actresses/models. This IS the true desi female mentality.
Here is a scenario of a TYPICAL SANWLI/DARK desis group of females.
Never seen a gori desi in a group of dark regular desi girls,
because they dont get along with the gori desi, they are intimidated by her.. they dont even want to have any pictures taken with the gori looking desi standing next to them in the group. They ONLY praise each other.

Typical desi mentaltity: agree or u are jealous. lol.

some ppl like lower babish faces (low cheekbones) and some ppl like high cheekbones. some ppl like blondes and some brunettes.

it's so sad when desis make a RULE about who is pretty and who is not.. and anyone else who differs is jealous. what a brainwashing in desi mentality to not let people have diverse opinions and no bad labels.

both are lovely, very lovely and talented. but neither is the best of India.. Indian women are famed for their perfect oval face and long lush hair... even Rekha does not have a perfect oval face. these 'top beauties' don't compare with the likes of Waheeda (perfect oval) or even a Madhuri is close to an oval face. think the 'ordinary' beautiful woman on the street has more refined features and higher cheekbones. top stars are chosen in Bollywood to represent the 'fairest of them all' (or if dusky, pancaked and bleached to be fair) due to the strange mentality that dark complexisons are average... but their features are hardly the finest in the population.

neither has a soft look to her face.. in fact, Kar looks harder than her sis Karisma... the softness, sweetness and oval look are missing from both.

this is just a subjective look-- not to put them down. see.. everyone has their own opinions about beauty. they are both talented lovely and laughing their way to the bank.. at the top. even they would agree that they are not so vain as to be the 'best looking ever'... India is just too gorgous of a country and it's sad that posters are filling it with pathetic comments against Indian women.
