After Asin's sudden exit from Ashutosh Gowarikar's Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Se, Ashu has signed Deepika as his leading lady. The gorgeous, hazel-eyed Bangalore beauty is said to be wrapping up some commercial shooting at this point. She also has a verbal commitment with Ashu saying she will not issue any statements about her role without his permission. However, the fact is that Deepika will fly to Goa to romance Bachchan Junior in this sensitive film based on the Chittagong Uprising of 1930. "Yes, Deepika is on. We are looking forward to working with her and we start shooting on the 9th of November," confirmed Ashutosh's wife and producer Sunita Gowarikar.

abhi and deepika will make a good pair. but abhi is the king of flops and ashu's films needs high caliber actors with great screen presence, then only they will be hits like lagaan (aamir khan) and JA (ash and hritik). otherwise they will be like the rest of his movies (long and dragging). and deeps needs to know that acting natural doesn't mean being wooden and dull.

She needs to invest time in acting skills.She is lucky that she is still getting good banners,after so many flops. only I wish she learns acting skills..
