Freida Pinto scales on best-dressed list

Photographers, fashion moghuls, make up artists, producers, directors- everyone wants her to endorse them. Too much to do, too little time, what the heck!

For over a year, ever since Slumdog Millionaireput her in the spotlight, Frieda Pinto has had the world eating out of her well-manicured fragile hands. With her petite frame and million watt smile she has been the toast of the paparazzi.

So it comes as no surprise, that today, when People magazine announced its best dressed list yesterday, Frieda was counted amongst luminaries like Kate Winslet and Michelle Obama. What was she chosen for? 'Best use of colour' is how the magazine describes Frieda's style quotient when including her in the list of the ten best dressed people on the planet.

Such honour, at an age when starlets are just beginning to understand how to mix and match is a great reference point both for her as an upcoming actor and her admirers who swear by anything she wears, though the common grouse of fashion experts back home in India is that she does not do anything for Indian fashion, which is a tad sad on her part- not wanting to drape a saree on one of her high end appearances at a glitzy event.

No one from India has ever made the cut on the People's best dressed list ever, and Frieda definitely owes her name on the list to a lot of people at fashion houses such as Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Dolce & Gabbana, Roberto Cavalli, yada-yada-yada!

StarBoxOffice hopes she dazzles us all with her talent in her Woody Allen under-production film, since that's what we'd like to see of her more, than the other part- her starry eyed appearances in public
