Anurag Kashyap's impressive work in Gangs of Wasseypur seems to have convinced Amitabh Bachchan to forgive him for his earlier transgressions. Anurag committed Bollywood's equivalent to professional suicide when he publicly took on Amitabh Bachchan and criticized him for delaying the release of Chittagong, a movie that was competing with Khele Hum Jee Jaan Se starring Abhishek Bachchan.
Amitabh lavished praise on Anurag's superhit movie Gangs of Wasseypur in his blog and strongly recommended the movie. Anurag responded with humility and said "We have not had the best of relationships, par unhone tareef ki hai meri movie ki. Bahut badi baat hai bhai." A personal meeting followed resulting in Anurag's tweet "Finally met Big B after 13 years of silence and angst and sorted everything. Now to make a film with him someday." #dreamcometrue
Wonder how Gangs of Wasseypur might have been if Amitabh had acted in it. One can only hope the duo combine for a film real soon.
