Which actress do you think deserves best debut award for 2009?
Shruti Haasan – Luck
Shazahn Padamsee – Rocket Singh: Salesman Of The Year (not yet released)
Vaishali Desai – Kal Kisse Dehka
Giselli Monteiro – Love Aaj Kal
Sheena Shahabadi – Teere Sang
Aamna Shariff – Aloo Chaat
Mahi Gill and Kalki Koechlin – Dev.D
I think for me Sheena Shahabadi, she did a marvelous job in Teere sang and to some extend Giselli Monteiro but than we haven’t seen Rocket Singh: Salesman Of The year! and Shazahn Padamsee holds a good chance at winning especially when shes coming under the Yash Raj banner.
What do you guys think, who should get best debut 2009?

Actually Mahi Gill and kalki will be nominated in Best actress as well as Best debut and they shall win both coz everyone else suck big time this year and plzz Deepika cant act to save her life, Rani is so past her prime, Bebo has been downgraded to B-grade wannabe actress, Priyanka sucked in WYR, her part in Kaminey is too small, Katrina cant act. So far best debut/best actress: Mahi Gill& Kalki
As for actor Shahid Kapoor for Kaminey, Abhay Deol for DevD, Ranbir Kapoor for Wake up Sid

the ones that have debuted this year so far that I have seen (giselle, shruti haasan) seem to be the most widely known but oh my god, if either of them win best debut, whatever faith I have left for these awards will be eradicated.
