Kareena in Karan-Ekta's next
We all know that Karan Johar and Ekta Kapoor are co-producing a film with Emraan Hashmi in the lead. Kareena Kapoor was the first choice to play the female lead. But in a twist of fate, Sanjay Leela Bhansali settled with Deepika for Ram Leela, and now we hear from Times of India's sources that Kareena is back into the yet untitled project.

kareena is so pathetic. first she said that she does not want to work with emraan hashmi & now that she is short of films, she wants this movie back! I m not going to believe this story anyway. because we all know bebo tried so hard to get back in to SLB's Ramleela & her PR spread these articles saying that 'Kareena is back in Ramleela' lol. I wish Deepika is doing this movie because i was really looking forward to emraan-deepika's pair <3

She never said that she doesnt want to work with Emraan Hashmi Idiot.. and Kareena was the first and say that she isnt doing Ram Leela at that point Deepika wasnt even signed on. She dropped out on her own. Short of films? She has 4 films lined up.. Satyagraha, Punits Next, Zoyas next and possible Karan Johar next and also prolly this one also.. Get ur facts right!!

For MOST good films in Bollywood Kareena is always the first choice among the females and I think it's because when directors/writers begin envisioning their films they see good actors essaying the role(s). This is not an insult to any other actor or actress, it's just an observation based on Bollywood casting.
emraan deserves some one like, deepika, mallika, jacqueline, udita go swami, priyanka...

Infos are correct except the masala film point. It isn't a masala film. THANK God ! It's only a film for the masses but that doesn't mean it's a masala film. For me masala films are senseless movies with a big hero and a eyecandy role. This hopefully will be much more. Quality should work here! And Emraan with Kareena or Deepika sounds interesting. Looking forward to.

That report wasn't true. Karan said recently that both roles are equally big and it's not a female centric movie. It's a masala film about love and hate story with two strong main roles. But hey adjust the dates for the hero. Karan and Ekta confirmed that Emraan is the most important thing of the project. He plays a character with positive and negative shades. The actress for the heroine is the 2nd thing.
Plus he is Ektas biggest favourite. So this says everything.
I guess its a female oriented movei....must say kareena has so much of guts....heroine was a flop....n now again female oriented movei.......i think deepika would b btr....
