Katrina no longer with YashRaj
We've had a serious overdose of Katrina Kaif when it comes to YashRaj films. The actress has done her fair share of work with the studio including New York, Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, Ek Tha Tiger, Jab Tak Hai Jaan and will now be seen in Dhoom 3. Now, the studio is known for repeating their favourite actresses. Case in point, Rani Mukerji, Anushka Sharma. For that matter even actors like Shah Rukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan have been staple YashRaj cast members. But it seems that head honcho Aditya Chopra is no longer interested in casting the lass. Aditya is apparently quick to find replacement options as soon as Kat's name is suggested, reports Mid Day. Apparently, everyone expected Kat to be part of Ali Abbas Zafar's next after Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, but the lead is being played by Priyanka Chopra. Katrina (as an option) has now been replaced by Sonam Kapoor for Yashraj's next with Ayushmann Khurrana. We wonder what could be the reason for this sudden change of mind with the YRF camp as Katrina has been their blue eyed girl for quite some time and also has delivered them hits!

oh come on.lame debate.katrina cnt b used fr every movie.its nt easy to fit nri in every mvie script.ayushman is short in height.dnt knw hw he wud match sonam.

Will Katrina now work with directors of her first film? NO. She will choose best of what is offered to her. Similarly, what is wrong in Yashraj choosing not to work with her? They might be acting in their own interest. In which way, YRF is obligated to sign her in all of their films?

Any publicity is good publicity.. people speak about Kat now becoz of this news at the same time ayushman and sonam are also getting attention just because someone fabricated a news about kat and pitched those two against her. that is the star power and very few stars in bollywood have this incredible power to create hysteria. if ayushman's wife is a professional PR, as someone said below then she definitely is playing her cards right. a little attention wont be bad after all. hate them or love them but there are few names which are very hard to ignore. she is one of them. sonam is still a struggler and ayushman is very new to the industry. may be they will get their chances but this ain't their time.

Kat refused the movie that went to Priyanka because she wanted to work in the Day and Knight remake with Hrithik. As far as the movie with Ayushman is concerned i am sure Kat wouldn't want to work with such a newcomer with only one movie under his belt.
How silly... she doesn't have to be in every YRF film, they can take other heroines too and it doesn't mean that she's no longer "with" Yashraj films. LOL
Katrina would never do a film with a newcomer or lesser known hero, all of her big hits have been with the Khans.

Everyone knows yrf is nothing now. All their films except for ek tha tiger were flops. So if anything it's good kat is not part anymore.
Katrina didn't do Gunday because she was committed to Bang Bang with Hrithik. I highly doubt Katrina was even considered for the Ayushmann film, which is likely to be smaller in scale. Another example of the unresearched, "much ado about nothing" style of entertainment reporting that ticks me off.
kat had done her best performances ever with new york and MBKD,but she was so bad in ETT abd JTHJ.i'm her fan but she is not a good actor.i think sonam is a better actress.she was good in IHLS and delhi6.and kat has worked with them recently in 3 films in row.don't you think it's a great idea to make some changes?but it doesn't mean they'll never work with kat.i'm sure they'll work.

She is stunning. But ther is no way on earth she is 28. She is 34+ easily by zero stretch of imagination. It has been more than 10 years that she is seen in Indian film circuits. She was not a teenager when she came here.

Other movie house like Eros, utv,dharma all want to sign her BTW she is very close to Ali abbas she knows his family and he even said she wad first choice but couldn't give dates because it clashes with the hritik knight and day film . god saved YRF from the Horror.. much Audience are now more matured after films like kahaani, barfi, paan singh & GOW.. they are now able to absorb quality cinema and discard the senseless ones (List is endless)..
