India for ages has been the homeland where we created our own remedies for almost anything. We all sure are aware of all of our ‘dadi-maa’s nuskhes’. Be it the traditional food recipes, the home remedies for skin and internal body or the major “jugaads”, Indians have always been on the forefront. 

Our body is equally a component of nature and when you treat it correctly it ends up giving you innate happiness. Our country is the land of “ayurveda” which is an ancient science of healing 

and is the keeper of a lot of beauty secrets. Since it is all natural, it works beautifully on our skin and on our body.

In today’s listicle we’ll give you a low down of the most beneficial ayurvedic face-packs which will help you in bringing that instant stunning glow.

The classic turmeric and besan face mask

A uniform face mask for everyone who wants instant glow. Take 1 tablespoon of besan, mix it with half a teaspoon of turmeric and 1 tablespoon of rose water. Mix it all together into a thick paste and apply it on the face and neck. Leave the facepack on for about 15 minutes and then wash it off with water. Apply it twice a week to get the best results. Turmeric consists of anti-bacterial and also skin-lightening properties. 

Chandan face mask

Chandan is known for its antibacterial property and honey makes your skin soft and keeps it moisturised. Mix 1 teaspoon of sandalwood with 1 teaspoon of honey. Blend and mix it all together and apply it on your face. Leave it on for about 20 minutes and wash it off with water. Apply it thrice a week to get the best results.  

Honey and lemon face mask

The easiest facepack but one with multiple facial benefits. Just take one tablespoon of honey and one tablespoon of lemon. Mix the two together and apply it all over your face except around your eyes. Leave it on for 20 minutes and then wash it away. Practise this thrice a week to get the best results. Lemons help in the removal of dead skin cells and honey has antibacterial and antioxidants which help in lifting up the glow. 

Multani Mitti facepack

The age old face mask which always does wonders for our skin has to be the multani mitti mask. Take 1 tablespoon of multani mitti with 1 tablespoon of honey and 1 tablespoon of milk. Mix it all together and apply it on your face. Leave it on for about 10-15 minutes and wash it off with water. If you feel like your skin is looking extremely tired and lifeless then believe us for you need this very face pack to get that flawless glow.

Aloe vera, lemon face mask

Aloe vera is the greatest gift to mankind. Aloe vera is great for keeping the skin moisturised and also helps in getting rid of dead skin cells. Blend together 1 tablespoon of aloe vera pulp, 1 teaspoon of lemon juice and 1 tablespoon of honey for about 30 seconds. Apply the facepack directly to the face, leave it on for about 15 minutes and then wash it off. 

Rice flour and sandalwood pack

This face-pack is great for oil absorbing properties and also displays excellent inflammatory effects on the skin. Take 1 tablespoon of rice flour, 1 teaspoon of sandalwood, half tablespoon of milk powder, 1 tablespoon of besan and 1 tablespoon of rose water. Mix everything together in a fine paste. Apply the paste on your face and massage it for about 5 minutes. Leave it on for 15 minutes and wash it away with water. Apply a moisturiser post applying the pack. 

Neem, tulsi, turmeric face pack

Make a coarse paste of 4 tulsi leaves, 3 neem leaves. 1 teaspoon of haldi and half a teaspoon of lemon juice. Make a nice paste and apply the mask on the face. Let it dry fully and then wash it off. Apply this thrice a week to get the best results. Tulsi and Neem both consists of anti-bacterial properties which clears acne and blemishes and also protects your skin from sun damage.
