shes actually been looking better after she put on weight and began poofing up her hair. Her clothes and make up are still the same
Indian people may love her fashion but in the states this wouldn't fly. She's always a mis-match...this is coming from a New Yorker. She needs class in her dressing - instead she adds a bit of that Indian awkwardness in all her outfits. The kapoor sisters are ALWAYS trending and international looking.
Anything that looks different is not fashion. Fashion is somehting that appeals to the eye. I must say Deepika's sense of fashion is appealing.
Sonam's fashion sense is arbitrary.. Each look is made up and unnatural and says nothing about other than that she is trying too hard.
Somehting new and out of the box is not always good.. It becomes experiemnting for the sake of experiment..
In real life, if you see someone wearing the kind of looks that Sonam usually goes for.. u r looking at the person cos it sticks out like sore thumb..
On the otherhand, if someone dressed like Deepika enters the room, heads will turn cos all that has been put together actually accentuates her personality.. not make her look like a mannequin used for some experiemnt.
her first hit - cocktail? or second hit? lol - i don't like any of her fashion choices...there's always one accessory/thing that ruins the look. For example the oxford shirt with the coral pants - great! but then those huge nude heels? great heels but for a bad look with the top and pants. No offense to indian culture - but she has that fobby indian touch in all her fashion...afterall she is Indian, but she doesn't have that international look like sonam or kangana have.
I love Deepika's style cos its not pretentious. Sonam just screams pretense... none of her looks are original.. She is Over-The-Top in most cases.. Only a wannabe tries too hard for every public appearance. Saddest part is, some of her looks are what models wear on the ramp and anyone who knows fashion, knows the difference between ramp look and real look..
Experimenting DOES NOT mean trying out looks straight out of magazines without even bothering enough to tweak it to her style..
Fashion can be aped but not style.. Sonam lacks style... She has no individuality. She is only a look from a magazine. today she is one, tomo another.
Nevr.Sonam and bebo are the best !they have an amazing sense of dressing not like this dumb woman.
I like most of the above looks excluding the red pants and denim shirts, the tie-dye pants, the black and white combo dress and pantsuit at the end and the blue jumpsuit. The white dress at the very top is my favourite here.

Some of us don't think that Sonam takes risks, she doesn't do anything that hasn't been done already (and in a much better way) by the international fashion scene. You can't tell who is she or what she is about by the way she dresses. Her style is not avant garde, she just wears whatevers doing rounds at the fashion weeks which doesn't make it all that risky. From Deepikas pictures above you can clearly tell her style revolves around streamlined silhouette and cuts and she prefers one or two complementing accessories, she isn't claiming to be a fashionista or even dressing like one, she has her own style and thats what works. Being yourself is the most fashionable thing you can do.
One cannot compare her style wid Sonams and Kareenas.. She is a smart dresser! who is also very experimental!
Yes! I love the way Deepika presents herself and carries herself, she has a great sense of style and a great body to pull off almost anything!
Stop dragging Sonam here. Deepika and Sonam are diametrically opposite when it comes to fashion......Good or bad Sonam does take risk and most of the time comes out shining and Deepika mostly plays safe and She also wins. Both have their good days and bad days fashion wise........But if you say all the above mentioned looks are good, nothing is plain then you are Deepika's blind fan, that much I must say.

I agree with PinkvillaQueen_09, Deepika plays with fashion yet avoids the 'dressed for a costume party' syndrome that usually plagues Sonam. I'm so happy that shes finally started getting her makeup right as well.
Yes she has grown to look fab on screen and off screen but the question is can she do it her self!! like Sonam does and Kareena can pull off!!
Deepika and Sonam are the best in fashion. Kareena, Priyanka, Bipasha are always wearing the same thing, and barely experiment with hair and makeup

She's the only person who looks good in Masaba,Sonam looked like crap while wearing a Masaba outfit.
I find Deepika's style a LOT better than Sonam's. Sonam looks like a cartoon character at times and overdoes it with accessories. Deepika always gets it perfect! Loving the new style,keep it up DP!
She has found an amazing stylist. She should stick with this stylist....she has never looked this good. Good for her!
