I will recommend the product lines and you can go check their websites

eyeliner/kohl: Mikyajy Black-I kit, Milani, Covergirl, Maybelline,
hey
Revelon blushing mauve color for lips
Also I came across shayari beauty's natural complexion serum... I use it under my makeup so it goes on smoother.
I think it's www.shayaribeauty.com. Oh yeah and try covergirl peach perfection blush.
Sorry- I thought you were only asking for Mac recommendatons. While I would stick with my earlier recommendations for eyeliners and blushes. You can also use Wet N Wild eye shadows. The colour pay off is good and they are very cheap. All colours will look good on your skin tone
Lip Stick- Rosey Nude in Revelon and Kitch in Gosh will look good
Plum Foolery and Peachy keen would be good blushes for your skin tone
eye shadows- I have more than 50 Mac eye shadows and I am the same skin tone as you. Must have eye shadows are: Woodwinked, Satin Taupe, Arena, Sketch, All That Glitters, Star Violet, Expensive Pink, Sable, Brown Down and Folie
Lip Sticks- Capricious, Please me
I donèt like Lip Glosses
Eyeliner- Coffee and Smoulder are basic. Prunella would be a fun colour to have
Makeup Forever has great foundation if your skin needs it. Infinitely better than Mac which looks caked on after a few hours. Kim Kardashian wears this foundation. Check out her "makeover by a pro makeup artist" clip on Youtube.
Blush- from baby pink to Coral will work awesome (some options are Elf, Maybeline mousse blush, wet n wild)
Eyeshadows- brown, neutral, berry, dark blue, bronze (u get plntey of shades in drug store)
Lipstick - again from nude to pink to coral to brown (I am loving Maybelline color sensation's peach n pink shades, Revelon makes pretty colors too)
Lipgloss- I personally dont like lipglosss but if u have pinky red lips n like it anything will look good on ur skin tone
Eyeliner/Kohl- Black, brown, deep blue, Burgandy (Wet n Wild makes good eyeliner, Prestige, Revelon n Maybelline all r good n cheap)
Foundation- Revelon colorstay, Maybeline mineral line, Rimmel 16 hrs makeup all work well without breaking ur bank and same goes with tranlucent powder
I won't spend 20 bucks or 30 bucks for an eyeshadow or foundation. There are some really good stuff avaialble in drugstore. They will have promotions of buy one get one free or similar ones n u can find coupo online too. That way u can toss ur makeup from 6month to 1 year :)
Someone suggested blue eyeshadow with pink gloss and plum lipstick..I wont do tht..if u r wearing blue eyeshadow go for new lip as eyeshadow itself is very over powering. If u r wearing plum color then go for light pink or peach blush with brown eyes.
I love O-gloss from smashbox.
juicy tubes from lancome - my favorites are miracle, cherryburst.
eyeshadow - purples, greens, beige.
blushes - orgasm from NARS is great.
Blush: Deep not pink
eyeshadow: greens, browns, olives, golden
lipstick: we can carry dark as well as light very well
lipgloss: nude, light peach.
eyeliner/kohl: black, brown, deep blues
Note: basically we're a warm shade race so warm colours work well with us.
My recommendations:
Blush - MAC
Eyeshadow - MAC
Lipstick - Loreal
Lipgloss - MAC for a special event or any other brand for everday use.
Eyeliner/Kohl - again depending if its everday or special event.
Also if you are really bored youtube videos of random girls getting their makeup done ... Just search in
well im a mac queen! lol ... If you have in mind to spend atleast 60 bucks then go there but if u want something cheaper then defi try the department store products!! ... Ive only always used mac so i cant really comment on how the others would be .... But my biggest worry would be finding the right shade of foundation for me!! .... Also when first started using mac i was hesitant too to go upto the makeup artists and all but depends on which ones u goto! ... Someone of them have scary makeup on themselves and im like eeeek! Defi dont wanna look like that! ... But Yeah, if or as long as u buy foundation, concealer, powder (Which amounts to 60 bucks) u dont have to get anything else .... plus u dont have to get concealer if your skin doesnt need much spots to be hidden away! .... O and if you return 5 used plastic containers of mac u get a freee lipstick! Haha ... And if u buy their eyeshadows and blush and lipstick and powder and liner ... those things last a long time! ... Goto their website to see what they have, the prices, and if u r interested
how about you go to a beautyblog??
this topic has been done before here as well.
thanks unthinkable i always hestitate to go these mac counters in macys because i think they will always oversell me, hence was asking if anyone has experiences and what mac products they use...
If I was you id goto Mac makeup store and have them do your makeup ... that way u can get the right tone to go on your face and on indian skintones usually brown/peachy colored lipsticks look best I think ...Plus tell em if you are looking for more of an earthy look or flashy and accordingly they'll pick out colors for you
light pink blush
blue eyeshadow
lipstick plum
eyeliner black
