it seems like not everyone understands my point.
I'm not comparing 2 film scripts. it's about the factor that every film can have.. and that factor can be different and so can the script or genre be different.
For example, just an example: the songs in DDLJ were that factor to watch it over & over again. In SOTY Alia's beauty was the factor ( just an example!! don't attack for this!!) In Dus the way the cops searched the terrorist out was the factor.
So I asked if JTHJ has the factor...
it's this simple...
How dare you compare DDLJ with this mindless crap! lol jk...but seriously though, there is no comparison. Maybe because we were young and DDLJ was our generation's sholay, but Jab Tak Hai Jaan as no storyline, no editing (why is SRK dancing around at the Olympic stadium when it's supposed to be like, 1999!!!), no humor, no sense in any of the subplots...just mindless, stupid, boring crap!
both are diffrent movies how can compare this
DDLJ is actually just an ordinary movie with ordinary story. What makes it one of bollywoods best is the SONGS.

It is being criticized now, but the movie has some very touching and memorable moments that make it just as special.. The story as such is really laughable but the characters are memorable. I believe after 5-6 years JTHJ will be called a great story and the characters Samar and Meera will become just as loved overtime. It has that factor, Katrina looked too beautiful and dream girl like for her to not be remembered for this role
