Box Office Report: ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ becomes highest grosser of Salman Khan!
Salman Khan’s ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ has done the unbelievable. The film took a major jump on its second Sunday and collected Rs. 24.05 crores. The second weekend collection of the movie amounted to be Rs. 56.10 crores.
With the film doing phenomenal business in its second week, the gross total of ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ is Rs. 240.72 crores at the Indian box office and is slowly and steadily inching towards 300 crores. With this, it is safe to say the movie has crossed 400 crores globally, what with it performing well in overseas.
‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ has also become the highest grossing films of Salman Khan, racing much ahead of his last release ‘Kick’.
Posted trade analyst Taran Adarsh, “#BajrangiBhaijaan is now the HIGHEST grosser of Salman Khan, overtaking his previous highest #Kick. Now eyeing ₹ 300 cr... India biz.”
He further added, “#BajrangiBhaijaan continues its DREAM RUN. Week 2: Fri 12.80 cr, Sat 19.25 cr, Sun 24.05 cr. Total: ₹ 240.72 cr. ALL TIME BLOCKBUSTER. #BajrangiBhaijaan is the HIGHEST grosser of 2015 [so far]. Total: ₹ 240.72 cr [Fri-Sat biz revised by Eros]. Now galloping towards ₹ 300 cr.”
