Box Office Report: ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ holds well!
Kabir Khan’s ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ starring Salman Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Harshaali Malhotra in the lead is dong consistently well in its second week.
The film collected Rs. 7.02 crores on Wednesday taking the grand total to Rs. 266.22 crores. Not only in India, but ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ is doing phenomenal business overseas as well. It has earnerd $ 20 million which is approximately Rs. 128 crores.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the collection figures on his twitter page. “#BajrangiBhaijaan [Wk 2] Fri 12.80 cr, Sat 19.25 cr, Sun 24.05 cr, Mon 9.30 cr, Tue 9.10 cr, Wed 7.10 cr. Total: ₹ 266.22 cr. ATBB,” he shared, adding further, “#BajrangiBhaijaan Overseas crosses the magical number of $ 20 mn [₹ 128 cr]. FABULOUS!”
The film’s production house Eros International also shared the box office figures on their social media page. “Bajrangi Bhaijaan's Wednesday (29th July) collection was Rs. 7.10cr in India! @BeingSalmanKhan,” posted Eros.
However, it would be interesting to see how the film performs once Ajay Devgn’s ‘Drishyam’ releases this week!
