Amazon Prime Video released a teaser video for the live-action series of Peko Watanabe's manga, 1122: For a Happy Marriage, revealing additional cast members and announcing its June debut on the platform.
Amazon Prime Video revealed a teaser video on Saturday, 14th April for the live-action series of Peko Watanabe's 1122: For a Happy Marriage manga. The live-action adaptation of Watanabe’s manga also unveiled additional cast members and announced its debut on Amazon Prime Video in June.
The series is helmed by director Rikiya Imaizumi, featuring scripts penned by his wife, Kaori Imaizumi. The project’s planning and production are credited to Junko Satō and the studio murmur, with Lat-Lon handling the production.

The staff of the series, 1122: For a Happy Marriage revealed that the series will have seven total episodes, and will debut on Amazon Prime Video on June 14. The first three episodes will be available on June 14, while episodes 4-5 will be available on June 21, and episodes 6-7 will be available on June 28.

- Yumi Morio as Mizuki's mother
- Yoshiko Miyazaki as Otoya's mother
- Jun Fubuki as Ichiko's mother
- Tateto Serizawa as a bartender at a bar Shirō frequents
- Kō Maehara as a hotel lobby staff member
- Atsushi Hashimoto as a real estate agent

Rikiya Imaizumi is directing the series, with scripts by his wife Kaori Imaizumi. Junko Satō is credited for planning and producing. The studio murmur is presenting the project with Lat-Lon credited for production.

"Ichiko Aihara. Husband: Otoya Aihara. 1122: For a Happy Marriage was nominated for the 12th Manga Taishō in 2019. In December 2019, Brutus magazine listed 1122: For a Happy Marriage on their Most Dangerous Manga list, which included works with the most stimulating and thought-provoking themes.
