Box Office Report: 'Phantom' witnesses 51% growth on day 2, performs well on Saturday
Kabir Khan's 'Phantom' which opened well at Rs. 8.26 crores on day one (according to Box Office India), has shown a phenomenal growth of 51% on day 2, Saturday. The movie earned Rs. 12. 78 crores on its second day, taking the total to Rs. 21.24 crores.
With Saturday bringing in such great collections for the movie, thanks to the festival of Rakshabandhan, it would be interesting to see how the film fares on Sunday.
The Saif Ali Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer opened in 2600 screens and is performing well in all the circuits. The movie picked up pace since Friday evening and has been steady.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh posted the box office collections on his twitter. He tweeted, "#Phantom biz witnesses SOLID 51% growth on Sat [Raksha Bandhan]. Fri 8.46 cr, Sat 12.78 cr. Total: ₹ 21.24 cr [on 2600 screens]. India biz."
