Box Office Report: 'Singh Is Bliing' fails Monday test, 'Talvar' passes well!
Akshay Kumar, Amy Jackson and Lara Dutta starrer 'Singh Is Bliing', whose collections dipped slightly on Sunday, has failed the Monday test and has witnessed almost 70% drop in the collections.
The film has earned only Rs. 5.25 crores on Monday, revealed Box Office India, taking the total to Rs. 50.50 crores in four days. In fact, the earnings of SIB in East Punjab have been only 75 lakhs and Rs. 1.75 crores in Mumbai.
Given the way the film's collections are dropping, it wouldn't be surprising to see if the movie struggles to sustain further.
Irrfan Khan Konkona Sen Sharma and Neeraj Kabi's 'Talvar' on the other hand did excellent business on Monday as it grossed 1.75 crore nett apprx, which is only 30% lesser than day one. With the film collecting Rs. 11 crores in four days, it would be interesting to see how it does in the coming week.
