Box Office Report: Ranbir-Deepika's Tamasha inches closer to 50 crores!

Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone starrer Tamasha has had a decent performance at the box office. The film had the 8th biggest weekend of 2015 and is now is performing steady in the weekdays.

While on the 1st Monday Tamasha earned Rs. 5.07 crores, on Tuesday the collections have dipped slightly. The Imtiaz Ali film made Rs. 4.07 crores on its 1st Tuesday, taking the total to Rs. 47.37 crores.

With two more days before Hate Story 3 and Angry Indian Godesses to release, Tamasha seems shall make to the 50 crores mark. However, this might not be enough for it to recover from the sum invested and may struggle Friday onwards at the ticket window.

Given that the two films releasing on Friday are in the adult genre, Tamasha surely seems to have an upper hand with the family going audiences.
