Tiger Shroff-Shraddha Kapoor starrer Baaghi had a very good first week by collecting INR Rs 59 crore nett in week one. The film fared average in the high-end multiplexes but still put up good to excellent number in all circuits. The first week collections are only behind Airlift and Fan for the year both of which had big male lead stars.

Baaghi was made for a production cost of INR Rs 25 Cr, and then the rights went for INR Rs 35 Cr giving good table profit.  The film managed solid hold over the weekdays and the main competition will come from Hollywood with Captain America - Civil War but Baaghi should continue strong in mass circuits where Hollywood films struggle to penetrate unless it’s The Jungle Book.

But Baaghi looks set to dominate for another week as far as Hindi films are concerned. There are a few new releases like 1920 London, One Night Stand and Traffic. The first two mentioned probably stand better chances at single screens but Baaghi is on a fantastic run in single screens that the best single screens in the country will remain with the Tiger-Shraddha starrer.

Congrats Team Baaghi!
