Box Office Report: Sarbjit Has a Slow Monday at the Ticket Window
Post the release of Sarbjit, the film has not been able to captivate the audiences at the ticket window as was expected. After the first weekend, Sarbjit had low collections on Monday with around INR Rs 2 Cr, but the level of collections is far too low overall. The four day business of Sarbjit is INR Rs 13.75 Cr.
On Friday, the film earned INR Rs 3 Cr, INR Rs 4 Cr on Saturday and INR Rs 4.75 Cr on Sunday.
This week the film should earn around INR Rs18.50 Cr at the ticket window. The film may get a second week run at low collections as the releases this week is pretty weak but even then INR Rs 25 Cr lifetime is a best case scenario for the film.
Despite the best collections coming in North India especially UP as it is tax free there now, the BO collections are still much lower than they should be.
Sarbjit stars Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Randeep Hooda, Richa Chadha in key roles and is directed by Omung Kumar.
