Box Office Report: Salman Khan's Sultan Does Record Breaking Business on Day 2!
Director Ali Abbas Zafar's Sultan is all set to become a blockbuster. The film which has received positive reactions from both the critics and the masses has done phenomenal business on Day 2 of its release.
The Salman Khan and Anushka Sharma starrer collected INR 36.54 crores on its day 1 and INR 37.20 crores on its second day, taking the two day total to INR 73.74 crores in India.
With this the film has managed to record two highest single days of all time. Sultan is performing extremely well in East Punjab while Delhi/UP is playing catch up due to day one being Ramazan. But the film is looking set for a fantastic run in North India.
As per the estimates, Sultan has become the second film to have recorded INR 35 crores business on two consecutive days, the first one being Bajrangi Bhaijaan. Given the run it is currently having at the box office, we wouldn't be surprised to see Sultan cross the INR 100 crores mark on its third day itself.
