Box Office Report: Akshay's Rustom inches closer to 100 crores, Happy Bhaag Jayegi fares low!
Akshay Kumar's Rustom that released last week has been performing steadily at the box office. The movie earned INR 4.25 crores on its second Friday, taking the grand total to INR 94 crores.
The film is unaffected by this week's release - Happy Bhag Jayegi that has scored INR 2.25 crores on its first day.
Given that the Abhay Deol, Diana Penty, Jimmy Sheirgill and Ali Fazal starrer has fared poorly on its day one, it wouldn't be wrong to expect that the Akshay Kumar, Ileana DÇruz and Esha Gupta starrer will cross the INR 100 crores mark.
The second week for Rustom might close in at INR 17-18 crores, and the movie may emerge as the second biggest hit of 2016.
Meanwhile, Hrithik Roshan's Mohenjo Daro earned only INR 1 crore on its second Friday, taking the grand total to INR 51 crores.
