The Katrina Kaif-Sidharth Malhotra starrer Baar Baar Dekho had a low first day at the box-office. The film earned INR 6.81 Crore at the ticket-window. The opening was decent at select multiplexes of the large metros but the other areas did not really pick up to give it a decent first day total.

BBD did the best business in Delhi NCR followed by Mumbai. There was a bandh in Bangalore which could have been one of the better cities for the film's business. Better collections in Delhi and Punjab have come due to the popular song Kala Chashma while in other areas it's not really pushed the film as it did not offer the content which would appeal in Central, Western, and Eastern India. Now it will be about that big growth on Saturday which will have to come outside the metros, as the film has a high acquisition price for this sort of content.

On the other hand, Nawazuddin Siddiqui's Freaky Ali fared poorly on day 2, with the business of INR 1.75 Crore. Neither the film had any face value nor there were any aggressive promotions. If the growth of 50% can come on the second day, Freaky Ali might have a fighting chance as to recover the cost of its domestic theatrical rights.
