Box Office Report: Poor start for Riteish-Nargis starrer Banjo
Things don't look so good for Banjo, as the first and second-day collection were very poor. The movie managed to rake in only INR 3.25 crore in 2 days (Friday - INR 1.50 crore and Saturday - INR 1.75 crore).
50% of the collection is from Mumbai, CP Berar and Nizam. Outside these 3, the figures are a total disaster. In North Indian cities, Banjo is doing 50% of the business of a film like Freaky Ali.
Amitabh Bachchan's Pink showed a huge growth on its second Saturday with around 60% occupancy. Its second-weekend collection stands at INR 8.50 crore (Friday - INR 3 crore and Saturday - INR 5.5 crore)
