Box Office Report: Alia-SRK's Dear Zindagi has solid growth on Day 2!
Things look positive for Gauri Shinde's Dear Zindagi as Day 2 saw a tremendous growth of 30%. It's collection on the second day stands at INR 11.25 crore nett approx. Along with Day 1's collection of INR 8.75 crore, the total collection is now INR 20 crore.
SRK's charm has surely helped in the success of the movie, and Saturday is the main day for premium multiplexes, which helped the cause. Today's growth maybe less as on Sunday's, the scoring don't collect well in the late evening and night show. However, it will be an INR 32 crore nett type of a weekend, which is huge for the film.
The movie did well in North India on Day 1 and has been faring well in South India (Exc. Gujarat/Saurashtra) and West Bengal.
Monday will be very crucial as it will determine if Dear Zindagi has found appreciation amongst the audience of premium multiplexes in the metros.
