Box Office Report: Aamir's Dangal becomes highest opener in Australia, beats Salman's Sultan

Aamir Khan's Dangal has opened to rave reviews from critics and audience alike. And the response is overwhelming not just in India but globally. Dangal has done record breaking business in Australia and has become the highest opener of Bollywood ever in the country.

The movie has earned a massive A$ 260K in Australia, which is way higher than Salman Khan's Sultan that collected A$ 155K. The movie however couldn't perform well in USA, Canada and UK as compared to Sultan and Dilwale

While in UK, Dangal made £120K as compared to Sultan's £270K. In US/Canada, Dangal has earned $785K whereas Sultan had recorded $1.10 MillionDangal collected $700K while Sultan made $1.5 Million.

Going by the current trend, one wonders how the movie will perform over the opening weekend.
