Box Office Report: SRK's Raees stands strong on Day 5, Hrithik's Kaabil maintains a steady growth!
In Raees vs Kaabil clash, both Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan's films are doing well at the box office.
Shah Rukh Khan's Raees and Hrithik Roshan's Kaabil epic box office clash is turning out to be a positive proposition for both the films!
While producer Rakesh Roshan was upset with the 40:60 ratio division of screens for Kaabil and Raees respectively, looks like any such thing is not harming Hrithik's film.
On Day 5, the Hrithik-Yami Gautam starrer collected INR 15.05 crores at the box office. The total business of the film since its release is INR 67.64 crores.
On the other hand, Raees is performing well at the ticket window. It collected INR 17.8 crore on Day 5, amounting the total business to INR 93.24 crores.
With these numbers, the SRK film becomes the highest weekend grosser ever for a January release film. It also tops the chart for the highest ever collection for a film released on Republic day.
