Article 15 Box Office Collection Day 4: Ayushmann Khurrana starrer slows down, mints THIS much on first Monday

Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Article 15 has been growing slowly and steadily at the domestic box office. After having a decent weekend collection, the film will continue to do well, reports suggest. Based on a true incident, Article 15 shows Ayushmann in a whole new light and never-seen-before avatar. The actor who essays the role of a cop in this social drama has been receiving praise from all quarters for his impressive performance. The film was off to a good start on Friday and also kept a decent hold over the first weekend.
According to a report in Box Office India, Article 15 made Rs 7.50-7.75 crore on Sunday while on Saturday the earnings stood at Rs 7.25 crore. On day 4, 1 July, Article 15 raked in Rs 3.75 crore nett on its first Monday. Given the numbers, the total collection of Article 15 now stands at Rs 23.50 crore nett in four days.
The film is facing a stiff competition from Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani starrer Kabir Singh. The report revealed that Article 15 could have done even better if it wasn't for Kabir Singh's extraordinary run. Predicting the numbers, the report suggests that Article 15 may collect around Rs 33-34 crore nett by the end of first week. Another reason that may have hampered the box office collections are the incessant rains in various parts of Maharashtra, especially Mumbai.
