Article 15 Box Office Collection Day 6: Ayushmann Khurrana’s film's numbers are stable on the weekday

A film that has been the talk of the town from the past few weeks is Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Article 15. Based on certain true incidents like the Badaun Rape case, the film revolves around the investigation of the rape of 3 Dalit girls by IPS Ayan Ranjan played by Ayushmann Khurrana. The film is an investigative drama that unfolds in layers and the acting by all stars has received a great response. The initial reviews of the film gave huge thumbs to Ayushmann as a cop.
Now, coming to the box office collections, Article 15 is a film with a social message. Despite that, the film has managed to bring audiences to the theatres and is holding its ground well. On Wednesday, Article 15’s Box Office collection came out to be Rs 3.50 Crore. Like the previous days, the film is gaining momentum and is going steady. The total Box Office Collection of Ayushmann Khurrana’s Article 15 has come out to be Rs 31 Crore till Wednesday and is bound to increase post Thursday.

Directed by Anubhav Sinha, Article 15 faced it’s share of backlash as well and was accused of showing the brahmin community in bad light. In places like Kanpur and Roorkee, the screening of the film was banned which also affected the business of the film. Post the banning of the film in Roorkee, Anubhav Sinha lashed on Twitter and mentioned that he will seek legal recourse for the same if needed. Article 15 also stars Sayani Gupta, Kumud Mishra, Manoj Pahwa, Mohd Zeeshan Ayyub and released on June 28, 2019.
