Avengers: Endgame will soon cross the lifetime collections of Avatar (2009).

Avengers: Endgame is in its third week of release and refuses to slow down at the global box-office. In spite of stiff competition with Ryan Reynold's Detective Pikachu, Avengers: Endgame is holding on its own. In India, the MCU film has crossed the Rs 350 crore mark, which is an impressive feat for a Hollywood movie. Starring Robert Downey Jr as Iron Man, Chris Evans as Captain America, Mark Ruffalo as The Hulk, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow and Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, Avengers: Endgame looks into the after-effects of Avengers: Infinity War (2018).

According to Reuters, when it comes to the global box-office, Avengers: Endgame collected $65 million during the third-weekend which is still more than Detective Pikachu, which earned $58 million. The total global box-office collections of Avengers: Endgame so far stands at $2.48 billion, which is just $300 million short of crossing the lifetime collections of James Cameron's Avatar (2009), which is $2.78 billion. The MCU film has successfully crossed the lifetime collections of Titanic (1997), which was $2.1billion.
