Badla Box Office Collection Day 35: Amitabh Bachchan & Taapsee Pannu starrer touches 100 crore mark globally
Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu starrer managed to cross Rs 100 crore at the box office worldwide in spite of all the big releases. It slowed down a little after the release of Akshay Kumar's Kesari but caught up its speed again.
Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu starrer 'Badla' is doing great at the box office. The mystery-thriller has finally reached the Rs100 crore benchmark globally, which is a piece of great news for the makers. The film has been widely appreciated by the people. It has also received a green signal from the movie critics. Badla is the remake of the 2017 Spanish film 'The invisible guest'. Directed by Sujoy Ghosh, the movie also features Amrita Singh, Tony luke, Manav Kaul and Tanveer Ghani. It narrates the story of an interview between a lawyer (Amitabh) and a businesswoman (Taapsee), in which he has to prove that the woman is being falsely framed for the murder of her lover. In between this plot, Badla is full of different twists and turns.
The film released on 8 March, 2019. It has bagged over Rs 101.5 crores worldwide. Entertainment industry tracker Ramesh Bala tweeted about the same. He wrote, "BADLA stays strong!

Badla faced a drop in its box office collection after the release of Akshay Kumar and Parineeti Chopra's historic drama Kesari. However, the film picked up its form just after a week. The film was made on a limited budget of Rs 10 crore and is produced by Red Chillies Entertainment and Azure Entertainment. Big B and Taapsee United for this film for the second time after Pink (2016). It is a clear win for team Badla as it is a blockbuster hit. Kesari, on the other hand, is growing towards success really fast.
