Batla House Box Office Collection Day 10: John Abraham starrer witnesses major improvement on second Saturday
John Abraham and Mrunal Thakur starrer Batla House is off to a great weekend, and the numbers further shall decide the fate of the film as a semi-hit or hit.
John Abraham is definitely one of the most loved Bollywood actors, and of course, he is one of the most handsome as well. Over the past 2 years, the actor has had an inclination towards patriotic films which include, Satyameva Jayate, Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran, and now, Batla House which also features Mrunal Thakur and Ravi Kishan in pivotal roles. The movie is inspired by the encounter that took place in 2008 and is directed by Nikkhil Advani.
Batla House released on August 15, 2019, along with the multi-starrer film Mission Mangal featuring the likes of Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, and others. According to the Box Office reports just like Mission Mangal, Batla House saw a huge jump on its second Saturday, with an increase by 60% courtesy Janmashtami. While the movie did make good numbers, it is still way behind as far as Mission Mangal is concerned, however, the 6-7 crore nett exra will help decide whether the movie will be a hit or a semi-hit.
With the Saturday numbers, the movie is most likely to finish towards the 90 crore net zone. The reports also suggest that the film has done business similar to Kangana Ranaut's Manikarnika and Ajay Devgn's De De Pyaar De, however, Batla House has a cost lower than those. Now, Monday shall decide the fate of the movie.
