Millions watched India beat Pakistan at the ongoing World Cup 2019. The Men in Blue outran the green squad by 89 runs, under the DLS method. Trade analysts were concerned that the most awaited India-Pakistan match could impact Bharat's box office collection. The Salman Khan starrer was put to test during its second weekend. The movie, which released on the same day as India's first match at the WC 2019, stood strong against India vs Pakistan match and minted an approximate of Rs 6 crore nett.

Box Office India reports that the movie stood strong on Sunday, Day 12, and added Rs 6 crore approx to the total box office collection. While the collections are considerably low, it is a good collection taking the WC match into consideration. At the end of the second weekend, Bharat collected Rs 16 crore. The Salman-Katrina Kaif starrer has now collected Rs 184.16 crore.

The trade site reveals that the movie witnessed growth in a few mass pockets. "The film is best in NCR especially the UP centers of Noida and Ghaziabad and this makes Delhi / UP by far the best circuit for the film," the site reported. However, pockets like Gurgaon and Noida did not show growth in box office collection. The site reports that these centres do not normally grow on a "normal Sunday even for the biggest of films as evening and night shows." The site adds that there has been over 80% drop in comparison to the first week. It is to see if and when will Bharat surpasses Rs 200 crore mark.
