Box Office: Huge achievement for Badhaai Ho as it BEATS Prabhas'Baahubali 2 record in its 6th week
Badhaai Ho has broken Baahubali 2: The Conclusion record in the 6th week, which is a huge achievement.
2018 has been a good year so far with some amazing content-oriented films that have even performed well at the box office and Badhaai Ho leads the list this year. Ayushmann Khurrana, Sanya Malhotra, Neena Gupta and Gajraj Rao starrer has proved to be the most popular film of the year. While the Khans who rule the industry, especially during their festive release, failed to create any mark at the box office with their respective releases. On the other hand, being a small budget film with an unconventional story, Badhaai Ho is setting a huge record even after six weeks of its release. No kidding, it has broken Baahubali 2: The Conclusion's record as well in the 6th week.
According to Box Office India Report, Badhaai Ho smashes another record as the film becomes the highest ever sixth-week collection in this decade and the second highest of all time. The film has beat the record of Rana Daggubatti and Prabhas starrer Baahubali 2 in the sixth week of its business. In its first week, Badhaai Ho, which has been directed by Amit Sharma, earned Rs 65.33 crores approx, in week two Rs 27. 56 crores approx, in week three Rs 15.22 crores approx, in week four Rs 10.43 crores approx, in week five Rs 7.63 crores approx and in week six Rs 5.75 crores approx. The entertainer of the year has done a total business of Rs 132 crores in six weeks and is slowly heading to reach the mark of Rs 135 crores. Baahubali 2: The Conclusion had earned Rs 3.35 crore in its sixth week, and with this, Badhaai Ho sets a huge record.
Directed by Amit Sharma, Badhaai Ho got amazing response at the ticket windows and the positive word of mouth only helped the film to grow the business with each passing week.
