Box Office: Loveyapa and Badass Ravi Kumar set to lose screens to Chhaava and Captain America Brave New World on Valentine's Day
Both Loveyapa and Captain America have completed a week of their respective releases. Chhaava and Captain America Brace New World will hit the screens on February 14.
Loveyapa and Badass Ravi Kumar have been competing at the box office since last week. Apart from their competition, they are also locking horns with Sanam Teri Kasam which has made its theatrical comeback this year. Now, after their first week, both the new movies are all set to lose screens to Chhaava and Captain America Brave New World on Valentine's Day.

Indian box office has two big films lined up for Valentine's Day. This is to note that Chhaava and Captain America Brave New World will hit the screens on February 14, 2025. This will result in holdover releases, Loveyapa and Badass Ravi Kumar, experiencing a decline in their screen counts.
Notably, the upcoming historical actioner has sold 1.28 lakh tickets in top three national chains in pre-sales for the opening day. It is expected to witness 1.60 ticket sales in final advance bookings. On the other hand, the American superhero film has maintained low buzz in advance sales in India with projected ticket sales under 50,000 in top national chains.
Produced by Maddock Films, Chhaava will feature Vicky Kaushal as Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. Meanwhile, Captain America Brave New World, backed by Marvel Studios, features Anthony Mackie in the titular role.
Lookback To Loveyapa And Badass Ravi Kumar's Box Office Performances In 1st Week
Directed by Advait Chandan, Loveyapa hasn't been able to attract the audiences. Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor's rom-com is having an underwhelming performance at the box office. Apart from the movie struggling with its low hype, cinegoers doesn't seem to be impressed with the on-screen chemistry of Junaid and Khushi in the film.
Badass Ravi Kumar, helmed by Keith Gomes, started its journey on a positive note. After a good opening weekend, it witnessed a decline in its business in the weekdays. Himesh Reshammiya-starrer boasts of immense buzz on social media through over-the-top dialogues and the popular soundtrack. Despite its underwhelming performance, it is a financial success for Himesh as a producer.
