Box Office Occupancy Report: Saif Ali Khan's Baazaar and Sharman Joshi's Kaashi perform poorly
Saif Ali Khan starrer Baazaar and Sharman Joshi starrer Kaashi: In Search of Ganga has registered an extremely poor occupancy report on the opening day. Even Rajkummar Rao and Nargis Fakhri starrer 5 Weddings had a poor occupancy report.
This Friday's releases, i.e. October 25, 2018, saw five films in a platter for the theatergoers - Baazaar, Kaashi: In Search of Ganga, 5 Weddings, Chal Jaa Bapu Dasshera and Gaon - The Village No More. The biggest film out of all of these is Saif Ali Khan starrer Baazaar, which also marks the Bollywood debut of late veteran actor Vinod Mehra's son Rohan Mehra. Along with Saif and Vinod, Radhika Apte plays Rohan's love interest and Chitrangda plays Saif's wife.
Out of all the films, the occupancy rate on the opening day for Baazaar was best out of the lot but that is not necessarily a good thing. According to Box Office India, the only way that Baazaar's box office collection would get over 1 crore nett is if a better turnout comes in the evening shows. This is proving to be a disaster for Baazaar. The box office collection of Baazaar may get past Saif's previous outings, such as Chef and Kaalakaandi but that is only because the release is wider for them.
The next best after Baazaar is 5 Weddings and Kaashi: In Search of Ganga. 5 Weddings stars Rajkummar Rao and Nargis Fakhri while Kaashi stars Sharman Joshi as the titular character. The collections of both are extremely dull.

Looks like this Friday has disaster written all over it and the only saving grace will be Badhaai Ho, starring Ayushmann Khurrana, Sanya Malhotra, Neena Gupta and Gajraj Rao in pivotal roles.
