Chhichhore Box Office Collection Day 1: Sushant Singh Rajput & Shraddha Kapoor’s film off to a decent start

Every Friday, cinema lovers get to witness some new releases and this Friday, Sushant Singh Rajput and Shraddha Kapoor starrer Chhichhore released. The film is the story of a bunch of engineering students who meet years later due to some serious circumstances in Sushant and Shraddha’s lives. The film received rave reviews from the audience who touted it to be a light-hearted film with a touch of nostalgia. The songs of the film also are doing well including Fikar Not and Khairiyat.
Coming to the box office collection of day 1, Chhichhore had a slow start in the beginning but it picked up pace in the evening shows. As per Box Office India, Sushant and Shraddha’s film managed to rake in Rs 7 Crore on Day 1 as box office collection. The numbers of Chhichhore were less than Sushant’s film with Sara Ali Khan, Kedarnath but as word of mouth spreads, the box office collection is expected to rise. As per the region-wise collections, Chhichhore earned maximum in Delhi NCR and East Punjab but its collections were low in Mumbai.

The film is expected to grow over the weekend. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, Chhichhore is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. Many Bollywood stars like Varun Dhawan also loved the film after the celeb screening and urged fans to watch it. The trailer also showcased an amazing journey of friends. It also stars Varun Sharma, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Prateik Babbar, Naveen Polishetty, Tushar Pandey and others. It will be interesting to see how Sushant and Shraddha’s films fares over the weekend.
