Sushant Singh Rajput and Shraddha Kapoor starrer Chhichhore hit the theatres on 6 September, last Friday. The ensemble star cast in the light movie included Varun Sharma, Naveen Polishetty, Prateik Babbar and Tahir Raj Bhasin. The film shows the fun and memories of hostel life and college friendship. The promos of the film introduced each character in their own unique way and increased the expectations in the audience's mind.
The much-anticipated comedy-drama experienced a dull start on the first day. As per Box Office India, Chhichhore was standing steady as a rock on Wednesday as it collected Rs 7 crore nett. The trend of the film is going strong on weekdays and it will earn over Rs 66 crore nett approximately till it's last day. Otherwise, Friday will surely tell where the film will go.The second week collections of this film will probably beat most of the bigger films of 2019.
Directed by Dangal director Nitesh Tiwari, Chhichhore is a very subtle comedy film, starring a group of friends who reunite after years of college. While everything else has changed, the college humour and friendship remains the same. The film was also applauded by many Bollywood celebs including Sushant Singh Rajput's rumoured girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty. Chhichhore har created a buzz all over for its hilarious trailer and promo videos.
