Fanney Khan Box Office Collection Prediction: Here's how much Anil and Aishwarya's film will make on Day 1

Anil Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Rajkummar Rao starrer Fanney Khan is clashing with two movies at the box office today - Irrfan Khan, Dulquer Salmaan and Mithila Palkar's Karwaan and Rishi Kapoor, Taapsee Pannu and Prateik Babbar's Mulk.

Anil Kapoor plays an aspiring father in his latest outing, Fanney Khan, which is inspired by the Dutch film Everybody's Famous (2001). Along with Anil, Fanney Khan also stars an eclectic cast featuring Aishwarya Rai Bachchan as a glamourous popstar, Rajkummar Rao as her gullible love interest, Divya Dutta as Anil's reluctant wife and debutante Pihu Sand as Anil's daughter who wants to be a singing sensation. Touted as a musical drama, the film is directed by Atul Manjrekar and produced by T-Series and ROMP Pictures.

Fanney Khan releases today and will be clashing with not just one, but two movies - Anubhav Sinha's Mulk starring Rishi Kapoor, Taapsee Pannu and Prateik Babbar and Akarsh Khurana's Karwaan starring Irrfan Khan, Dulquer Salmaan and Mithila Palkar. While both the movies give Fanney Khan some tough competition, the box office numbers favour to the Anil Kapoor starrer because of its mass appeal, according to Indian Express. According to trade expert Girish Johar, Fanney Khan may win the box office war this Friday.

Giving his reasons for the same, Girish shared with IE that since Fanney Khan is packed with an ensemble cast who are known for their acting performances, the audience will be more attracted towards this film. According to Johar, Fanney Khan could see an opening day collection of Rs 2.5 crore at the domestic box office.

He further stated that it will be the content which will be king and hence, Anil, Aishwarya and Rajkummar's movie will have more of an audience in comparison to Karwaan and Mulk.
