Hobbs & Shaw Box Office Collection Day 3 India: Dwayne Johnson starrer earn THIS much in its opening weekend
Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw released in India over the weekend. The Dwayne Johnson, Jason Statham and Idris Elba starrer has minted a good opening weekend collection.
Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw released over the weekend and it has emerged as yet another successful Hollywood movie of the year. The international film which stars Dwayne Johnson, Jason Statham and Idris Elba in the lead and it has managed to draw the audience to the theatres on Sunday. However, it did not witness a great growth in comparison to its Day 1 collections in India. As per Box Office India report, Hobbs & Shaw collected Rs 14.25 crore on Day 3, Sunday, in India.
Hobbs & Shaw witnessed a decent growth but the report states that the David Leitch directorial was expected to mint more money over its first weekend. "Sunday was good growth but it came after a flat Saturday which meant the collections on Sunday were lower than they should have been," the report stated. The report also pointed that Fast & Furious "is a bigger brand in India than Spiderman as the previous films have done better than the Spiderman films but this one could struggle in the long run and even do less business than the last couple of installments of the franchise."
The Sunday collections led to Hobbs & Shaw collect an opening weekend collection of Rs 37 crore. It is to see how the movie performs in India hereon. On the international front, Hobbs & Shaw collected $60.9 million at the US box office. As for the other markets, the Fast & Furious spinoff collected $120 million in its opening weekend. These numbers are sans the collections from the China market.
