Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani’s film, Kabir Singh is one of the biggest blockbusters of 2019. The film is into its 4th week and is still going steady. Here’s how much it collected on it’s 4th Monday.
Even after entering its fourth week, Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani starrer Kabir Singh is keeping its grip on the box office. The film released on June 21 and since then, it has managed to enter the 200-crore club in just 14 days. Also, Kabir Singh has broken various records with its business at the box office and is slowly inching towards breaking another of Aamir Khan’s Dangal. As of now, Dangal stands at the 4th position when it comes to the highest 4th-week business at the box office.
However, at the rate Shahid and Kiara’s film is minting money, it might just end up surpassing Dangal to take the 4th place in having the 4th highest collections in the 4th week. Meanwhile, as per box office India report, Kabir Singh managed to rake in Rs 1.50 Crore nett on Monday and the total collection till now has been close to Rs 258 Crore nett. It is inching towards a Rs 15 Crore mark by the end of the fourth week. The film is still going strong despite the other releases which include Ayushmann Khurrana’s Article 15 and Hrithik Roshan’s Super 30.
Helmed by Sandeep Vanga, Kabir Singh is the story of a doctor who fell in love with a girl named Preeti. However, due to her father’s pressure, she marries someone else and Kabir aks Shahid sets out to destroy himself completely. Shahid can be seen addicted to alcohol and drugs in the film and his anger is out of control. The film’s music has been a major highlight and songs like Bekhayali and Mere Sohneya are chartbusters of the year. The film is the Hindi remake of Telugu film, Arjun Reddy which stars Vijay Deverakonda.
