Mission: Impossible – Fallout is still ruling the BO charts

The sixth installment of the Mission: Impossible franchise Mission: Impossible – Fallout which was released on July 27 is unstoppable at the box office. The movie has topped the charts for the second week as well. The film has earned around $35 million over its second weekend. The movie has witnessed only a 43 percent drop at the box office and the same is not really a bad sign. Even the two new releases i.e. Christopher Robin and  The Spy Who Dumped Me and couldn’t stop Mission impossible to take the number one spot again. 

Disney’s Christopher Robin which is a live-animated movie is placed second at $25 million. The third place is secured by The Spy Who Dumped Me at $12.4 million. Around the world, Mission: Impossible – Fallout is doing great business with $76 million raked in from global markets. Also, the movie’s international earnings are more than $205 million till now. For the uninitiated, the movie stars Tom Cruise, Henry Cavill, Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson, Ving Rhames, Angela Bassett and Alec Baldwin in key roles. 

The movie is directed by Christopher McQuarrie and produced by Tom Cruise, Christopher McQuarrie, Dana Goldberg, J.J. Abrams, David Ellison, Don Granger. The movie will release on August 31 in China.
