Mission Mangal Box Office Collection Day 7: Akshay, Taapsee, Vidya & Sonakshi starrer witnesses a normal drop

Speaking of Wednesday, i.e. day 7's collection, the movie saw a normal drop of 10-12% and collected Rs 6.50-6.75 crore, reports Box Office India. For the unversed, Tuesday's collection was Rs 7.50-7.75 crore nett range. And now, the first seven day total is around Rs. 119 crore nett. As per Box Office India, the movie's first week total is the second-highest for Akshay Kumar. The movie is behind 2.0 (Hindi) which did around 127 crore nett. The highest Hindi film's one week total was Kesari till now. The movie had collected 97 crore nett.
For the unversed, on an opening day, Mission Mangal had garnered a whopping Rs. 28.50 crore nett and after an initial dip on Friday, the movie earned Rs 20 crore plus on Saturday and Sunday.
Speaking of the flick, the same is directed by Jagan Shakti and boasts of a stellar cast including Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, Taapsee Pannu, Nithya Menen, Kirti Kulhari, Sharman Joshi, Vikram Gokhale and Sonakshi Sinha among others. It is based on the Indian Space Research Organisation's Mars Orbiter Mission which was India's first interplanetary expedition.
