Notebook Box Office Collection Day 3: Zaheer Iqbal & Pranutan Bahl starrer shows progress at the ticket window

As per the same report, Notebook's first weekend collection is just a bit higher than the opening day of Salman Khan's last movie as producer Loveyatri.

Salman Khan who is known for introducing many actors and star kids in the b-town recently gave break to Mohnish Bahl's daughter Pranutan Bahl and Zaheer Iqbal. The stars featured in the recently released Notebook. The weekend collection of the box office is out and the same is quite poor. The movie Junglee which had locked heads at the BO has been garnering good reviews as well as is minting good in comparison to Notebook.

As per BOI, the opening day collection was around Rs 60 lakhs, while the day 2 collection was a little better with Rs 80 lakhs (approx). As per report, the day 3 collection was better than day one and day two as the movie minted Rs 1 crore 10 lakhs (approx). 

As per the same report, Notebook's first weekend collection is just a bit higher than the opening day of Salman Khan's last movie as producer Loveyatri. As per reports, Loveyatri which was released in October last year had collected around Rs 2.11 crores on the very first day. "The growth is not really there also and the film will not last long at the theatres", BOI's report read. On the other hand, Junglee had a good first-weekend collection with Rs 13 crores approx.

Talking about Notebook, the same is directed by popular film-maker Nitin Kakkar and the movie is reportedly based on a Thai film named A Teacher's Diary. It revolves around Kabir, an ex-army officer, who becomes a teacher later in Kashmir. He discovers a diary which was left behind by a teacher and he falls in love with her after reading her diary.
