For years, more than the film, the song 'Keech Meri Photo' used to grab the attention of music lovers. Nine years later after its initial release, the 2016 tragic romance Sanam Teri Kasam, starring Harshvardhan Rane and Mawra Hocane, Sanam Teri Kasam hit the marquee for a second time, and this time, the film started to ask movie lovers, 'Keech Meri Ticket'. True to that request, audiences are grabbing their tickets even after weeks after the second release date.
Re-released on February 7, 2025, Sanam Teri Kasam has seen an impressive second innings despite facing stiff competition from the Vicky Kaushal-starrer, historical action drama Chhaava. Now, as it enters its third week, the film continues its presence at the Box Office, adding another stupendous ₹25 lakh to its total on its 15th day which happens to be the third Friday in this run.
Directed by the famous Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru who have helmed over 100 music videos with top Indian music stars, and produced by Deepak Mukut, Sanam Teri Kasam has now become India's highest-grossing re-release, surpassing the ₹31.35 crore record set by Tumbbad at the Bollywood box office earlier. The film achieved its cult status for the kind of broken love the maker portrayed and fans have contributed to its renewed success now despite competition around.
