Simmba Box Office Collection Day 1: Ranveer Singh starrer registers sixth best advance opening of 2018
Ranveer Singh starrer Simmba is creating a ruckus at the box office as it registers the sixth best advance opening of 2018. Directed by Rohit Shetty, Simmba released today, i.e. December 28, 2018.
Ranveer Singh starrer Simmba had created a buzz even before the shooting started, as it was announced that the actor would be collaborating with his dream director Rohit Shetty. From the get-go, Simmba was a match made in 'masala movies' heaven given the deadly Singh-Shetty combo. Along with Ranveer, Simmba also stars newcomer Sara Ali Khan and Sonu Sood, who plays the main antagonist pitted against Simmba. Add to that, we have a cameo by Singham himself, Ajay Devgn and what you get is the recipe for a blockbuster.
Giving further proof to this is the advance opening of Simmba which has just come out. Ranveer's movie has registered the sixth best advance opening of 2018, beating Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar starrer 2.0 as well. The advance opening collection stood at an impressive Rs 8 crore. On the top of the list is Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan starrer Thugs of Hindostan which collected Rs 27.09 crore, and following it, was Salman Khan's Race 3 at Rs 19.16 crore and Akshay Kumar's Gold at Rs 13.03 crore.
We can now be assured that Simmba is going to roar on its release date, which is today, December 28, 2018.
