SOTY 2 Box Office Collection Day 4: Tiger Shroff, Ananya Panday, Tara Sutaria's film witnesses drop in numbers

Student of the Year 2 starring Tiger Shroff, Ananya Panday and Tara Sutaria released on Friday last week. The film was the sequel of Karan Johar's 2012 super hit film Student of The Year which starred Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra. SOTY 2 is helmed by Punit Malhotra and marks Tara and Ananya's Bollywood debuts.

SOTY 2 opened up to mixed reviews from the audience and the critics. On its first day, this Tiger Shroff starrer earned Rs 11.75 crores approx, on Saturday, it made a collection of Rs 13.50 crores approx and on Sunday, the film collected Rs 12.50 crores approx. However, the Monday collection of the film dropped by 50 per cent, reports Box Office India.

As reported by Box Office India, Tiger, Ananya and Tara's film earned Rs 5.25 crores at the box office on Monday. Thus, the total collection of SOTY 2 is now Rs 43 crores approx. The portal mentions that the drop is the collections is mainly in Delhi and Punjab. 

On the other hand, Avengers: Endgame which released on April 26 is still in the theatres. In the past four days, the film collected Rs 43 crores.
